Liberty Baptist Church 2.1
An Independent, Baptist, Family IntegratedChurch serving Norwalk, CAWe would love to take a moment to introduce our church. Liberty isa church that seeks to worship God in the simplicity of the faithfound in the Scriptures. We seek not to be ministry driven, butrather to be Gospel guided. The modern church has been consumed byevery philosophy under the sun, but Liberty has purposely chosen toreturn to the simple faith of the New Testament. We have summarizedour purpose by the following three things:WORSHIP – God has given us such a wonderful gift in theopportunity to honor Him. We gather together multiple times eachweek to exalt the Savior through prayer, Scripture reading, thesinging of psalms and hymns and, the preaching and teaching ofGod’s word. When we gather, you will find us worshiping together asfamilies, as we believe that the Scriptures teach that it is theprimary responsibility of fathers to lead their family during thissacred time.PREACHING – God has commanded us to reach from our own communityto the uttermost part of the earth with the message of the gloriousgospel of Jesus Christ. He has also been very specific in themethod He has chosen to evangelize the world… The preaching of thecross! This is in fact the power of God to save the lost, and whilethe modern church has employed many means by which to evangelize,Liberty has chosen to return to the simple method of preaching thegospel of Jesus Christ.DISCIPLESHIP – God has given us the great responsibility, through pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work ofthe ministry. If the church is functioning properly as the body ofChrist, it is as a result of the saints fulfilling their rolls ashealthy active members. Liberty takes the responsibility to equipthe saints very seriously. You will find a healthy balance ofexpository preaching, and systematic teaching in our worshipservices and Bible study times. We also place a heavy influence onholding fathers responsible for the daily discipleship of theirfamilies, without which the work of the church is greatlyhindered.
